SAIC-GM-Wuling launched the 2018 Baojun 530, its new compact SUV, yesterday in Guangzhou. It is available in eight variants with a choice of a 1.8L or 1.5T turbocharged engine, and a six-speed manual, automatic or DCT transmission.
Aluminum wheels, luggage rails and the ESP system from Bosch all come standard.
The luxury trim adds LED daytime running lamps, front fog lamps, four air bags, leather seats and an electric sunroof.
The honor trim offers a panorama sunroof, electric seats, a start/stop engine and Continental tires.
The flagship trim comes with an independent rear suspension, LED lenses, a Harman Infinity sound system, side curtain air bags and an electric parking brake.
Its length of 4,655 mm, width of 1,835 mm and height of 1,760 mm give the 2018 Baojun 530 a roomy interior – especially in the second row, which has a flat floor.
Baojun leveraged global suppliers to optimize driving enjoyment. Sachs vibration absorbers in the front and rear suspension, a Multimatic-tuned chassis and 3M sound insulation materials are all standard – ensuring a highly quiet and comfortable ride.
The Baojun 530 is priced from RMB 75,800 to RMB 115,800. The first 10,000 customers who place their order before April 30 can enjoy an incentive of RMB 5,000 and an 18-month interest-free loan.
