Toyota C-HR was designed based on C-HR concept, which debuted at the 2014 Frankfurt Motor Show. C-HR was designed in Europe, with European market in mind, but when executives from other markets saw it, they wanted C-HR as well. The Japanese designed a car, which looks bold from every angle, but remains practical. Toyota C-HR doesn’t look big, but it’s bigger than Nissan Juke, and almost as long, as Nissan Qashqai. Toyota C-HR is bigger than Citroen C4 Cactus, and about the same size as DS4 or KIA Niro. Or Mitsubishi ASX, which also has a bigger boot. C-HR boot has 377 litres capacity, just a bit smaller, than in Volkswagen Golf. Toyota C-HR is powered either by a 1.8 hybrid drivetrain from Toyota Prius or a 1.2 litre 4 cylinder turbo petrol engine. Two engines are available: a 1.2-litre petrol and a hybrid, but despite the rugged looks, it's a two-wheel drive only affair. The C-HR has plenty of equipment and has reasonably low running costs. It's not as practical as cars like the Qashqai, with less interior space and a smaller boot. But for those seeking a family car that stands out from the crowd, the Toyota C-HR is worth a look. The aerodynamic styling gives the sensation of movement even at a standstill. Following the success of the Toyota C-HR concept car at Frankfurt motorshow last year, Toyota are proud to unveil their cutting edge new model: the Coupé High-Rider. Its ingredients – the coupé profile, muscular styling and elevated cabin position – combine to create a completely new breed of car. The Toyota C-HR showcases a dynamic design to match its rewarding drive. A contoured bonnet flows over wide wheel arches to give it a stance that looks purposeful and poised, while striking LED front headlamps and an elegant diamond-patterned grille, complete the dramatic front styling. The Toyota C-HR’s sculptured doors lead into a sleek cabin featuring black C Pillars to create a floating roof effect that enhances the sweeping coupé lines. At the rear, distinctive boomerang-shaped rear lamps – incorporating signature LED light-guides – emphasise the Toyota C-HR’s build, while the sharp tailgate and rear bumper gives a great finish. Inside, you’re greeted by a high-quality interior that’s a match for the exterior. The spacious surroundings will comfortably fit five and its high-riding cabin commands all-round visibility of the road. A sweeping, driver-orientated dashboard – featuring signature blue accent and leather trim – and contoured leather seats envelop you to put you in control… at the heart of the action. The central 8-inch touchscreen offers eye-level interaction with the latest Toyota Touch® 2 multimedia system, while automatic air conditioning and warm ambient lighting – including illuminated cup holders – add to the premium feel. Throughout the interior you’ll also discover striking diamond design features, which complement the Toyota C-HR’s exterior styling. Featuring distinctive JBL speaker technology, experience crisp full sound in traffic or at speed. Keep your soundtrack flowing with the All New Toyota C-HR. The Toyota C-HR’s designed for people who aspire to live life to the full and expect their car to keep up. From cruising across town for a meeting in the city to aiding life’s passions when you venture further afield, the new Toyota C-HR reacts to those who like to work hard and play hard – it keeps modern lives moving. Combining the dynamic nature of a hatchback with the comforts of an SUV, the Toyota C-HR has been created to make you feel at one with the road, so you can enjoy every journey seamlessly.
